Love for God ought to supersede everything else. Why? Because God loves us beyond measure! Jesus Christ is at the centre of that love and thus He is the centre of the Seventh-day Adventist Church's beliefs and purposes. The Bible, God's special message to humanity, is the only creed of the church.

The Australian Union Conference is a strategic organisational unit of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church. It's territory takes in the whole of Australia, including Norfolk Island in the Pacific Ocean to the east and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands in the Indian Ocean to the west.

As at 30 June 2015, the official membership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church across Australia was 59,238. The official membership is a record of those who have been baptised by immersion and thus does not include the many valued children of the church who are yet to make their own decision to be baptised. There are well over 500 congregations across Australia, from the Pilbarra in the far north west to Tasmania in the south east.
